Regardless of their years of experience or age, the participants had experience in wide range of instructions from hands-on nursing care to acting as practicum supervisors. Their learning needs were similar to those of formal clinical practicum instructors; overall, the learning needs increased with age and teaching experience. In addition, nurses who had experience in precepting, teaching hands-on nursing care, or acting as practicum supervisors had higher needs for learning than those who did not.\nDiscussion In providing education to nurses who are involved in clinical practicum instructions without receiving formal educational courses, it was suggested that establishing an education system that is appropriate for all
