Data were analyzed using a qualitative content analysis adapted from the approach developed by Berelson.\nResults　A total of 564 responses were collected （55% response rate）, of which 286 were valid. From the transcript data, the following four categories were extracted: “a therapy that supports a healthy and rich life in the person's own way,” “a therapy that helps a patient adjust their own mind and body,” “a nursing technique that can be added to daily living assistance,” and “a therapy that could develop as a unique function of nursing.”\nDiscussion　The findings revealed that CAM/CAT in nursing can provide comfort a patient’s mind and body. It can help a patient maintain their personality, enrich their life, and live a better life. Practicing CAM/CAT in daily life care could help achieve the full potential of nursing.
